In 2021 a handful of students sat down for IELTS lessons in a single classroom. Today Praxis Habiganj has trained more than 8,000 students and runs its own computer lab for computer-delivered IELTS. This is how we got here.
Every chapter below is a real step in how we changed IELTS preparation in Habiganj — one batch, one classroom and one milestone at a time.
We started with a simple aim: make world-class IELTS training accessible in Habiganj. It began in one small room with a whiteboard, a handful of students and a lot of dedication — changing lives through English, one class at a time.
Our first batch did better than we had hoped. Word spread quickly and we grew to 50 students. That result was the proof we needed to dream bigger.
We moved to our current home on the 4th floor of Nazmul Store, Commercial Area. New classrooms, more instructors and better materials followed, and Praxis became Habiganj's most trusted IELTS training centre.
Our paper-based method became the standard in the region, with consistent Band 7+ results. Students and parents noticed too: our Google rating reached 4.7 out of 5 across more than 100 reviews.
IELTS moved onto screens. Instead of waiting, we rebuilt how we teach around the new format.
IELTS was moving onto computers, so we moved with it. We invested in a dedicated computer lab and our instructors trained intensively in the digital format. The change was hard work — and it changed everything.
We built a complete computer-delivered IELTS course with real exam simulation, on screens that mirror the IDP and British Council test interfaces.
Today we are Habiganj's #1 IELTS training centre, with more than 8,000 students trained and both paper-based and computer-delivered preparation under one roof.
